Pros:
- The 802.11ac is 3 times faster than 802.11n so, if you have the right router, you’ll browse super fast
- The sound is improved with the technology Acer TrueHarmony which provides higher volume and deeper bass
- The DDR4 allows a better performance than DDR3 memories by requiring less power: data transfer at 2.133MT/s with a power consumption reduction of the 20%
- It also includes the MU-MIMO technology for multi-user WLAN which also helps to get faster downloads.
- The technology Acer BluelightShield reduces the blue lights emissions from the screen to relieve the sight tiredness.
- It’s a robust and compact PC but, at the same time, it’s not too heavy.
- It includes the 1x USB 3.1 Type-C, the new standard which is spected to unify the USB connections from different devices in the near future.
Cons:
- The price (about 990 €)
- The USB ports distribution is a bit uncomfortable because there are only 2 USB ports on the left side and 1 on the right side)
Conclusions
As you can see from the number of Pros and Cons, this is a really nice PC. In order to prove it we have run a performance test and benchmark that we show in our next post.
